We are looking for a Special School Support Assistant to provide support to pupils with a range of additional needs including medical difficulties, visual impairment and behavioural support. The support will include attending to their individual care needs, (such as feeding, toileting and some medical procedures) and supporting classroom curriculum focused activities and physiotherapy and the use of alternative communication devices such as eye gaze, PECs, PODD and Makaton.

Greenmead is a primary school for children aged 2 – 11 years who have severe physical disabilities and associated communication and learning problems. Many of the children have additional medical needs.
