We are delighted to have pupils and staff back at school for the Autumn 2020/21 term.
To keep in line with government social distancing guidelines and minimising contacts pupils and staff are working in designated ‘hubs’ and we will be minimising visitors to the school based on priority of need.
Any visitors to the building are asked to kindly wash their hands on arrival and wear a face covering. Please read the schools Covid-19 risk assessment document before visiting the school: Visitor Risk Assessment
If you are a prospective parent/carer who would like more information about the school please contact the admin office who will give you further information about visits to the school.
All meetings are being held remotely through our online meeting platform, Microsoft TEAMS.
The school office is open Monday – Thursday 8.30am-4.00pm and on Fridays 8.30am-3.30pm
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for any further information about school business.
We offer up to 6 Wandsworth children after school play places per day. Staff from Greenmead run the play scheme so all activities are appropriately matched to the children. These places are subject to funding and therefore subject to change. Parents pay a small contribution. Places are allocated on a termly basis
Applying for After Party places happens twice a year, you will be sent an application form home with your child for you to complete and return to school. Places are allocated in collaboration with Short Breaks, ensuring places are offered on a priority basis.
We aim to provide holiday play schemes (Easter and Summer holidays) this is dependent on funding from Short Breaks.
Short breaks give children and young people the chance to spend time away from their families, gain independence, learn new skills and have fun with friends.
Short breaks also give parents and carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) the chance to have a “break” from their caring responsibilities, to rest, spend time with their other children, or to enjoy a leisure activity themselves.
The Wandsworth’s Short Breaks offer is designed to give families of children with disabilities access to a range of different short breaks opportunities.
The Friends of Greenmead (FOG) is the registered charity of Greenmead School. It depends on the support of parents, friends and staff for its success. Through FOG’s fundraising activities, Greenmead pupils have access to a range of facilities which would not otherwise be available. This includes funding Music Therapy. New parents are encouraged to join. If you would like to make a donation to the school please contact the school office or go to www.justgiving.com
