We are delighted to have pupils and staff back at school for the Autumn 2020/21 term.
To keep in line with government social distancing guidelines and minimising contacts pupils and staff are working in designated ‘hubs’ and we will be minimising visitors to the school based on priority of need.
Any visitors to the building are asked to kindly wash their hands on arrival and wear a face covering. Please read the schools Covid-19 risk assessment document before visiting the school: Visitor Risk Assessment
If you are a prospective parent/carer who would like more information about the school please contact the admin office who will give you further information about visits to the school.
All meetings are being held remotely through our online meeting platform, Microsoft TEAMS.
The school office is open Monday – Thursday 8.30am-4.00pm and on Fridays 8.30am-3.30pm
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for any further information about school business.
Governors are responsible for overseeing the organization and management of the school. The law requires that every school has a Governing Board and lays down what they are to do and the rules by which they must work. On each Governing Board there are representatives of the parents and guardians of the pupils at the school, staff at the school including the Headteacher, people appointed by the local authority and other people who represent the local community or businesses.
There are three committees which meet termly. They are; Finance & HR, Safeguarding & Premises and Teaching, Learning & Therapy. The Full Governing Board, consisting of all the Governors, also meets termly.
The Governors are involved in ensuring the delivery of the curriculum, agreeing the aims and policies of the school, interviewing and appointing staff, setting the annual budget plan, monitoring spending and keeping parents informed of the progress of the school.
