We are delighted to have pupils and staff back at school for the Autumn 2020/21 term.

To keep in line with government social distancing guidelines and minimising contacts pupils and staff are working in designated ‘hubs’ and we will be minimising visitors to the school based on priority of need.

Any visitors to the building are asked to kindly wash their hands on arrival and wear a face covering. Please read the schools Covid-19 risk assessment document before visiting the school: Visitor Risk Assessment

If you are a prospective parent/carer who would like more information about the school please contact the admin office who will give you further information about visits to the school.

All meetings are being held remotely through our online meeting platform, Microsoft TEAMS.

The school office is open Monday – Thursday 8.30am-4.00pm and on Fridays 8.30am-3.30pm

Please email admin@greenmead.wandsworth.sch.uk for any further information about school business.

Greenmead School is a Wandsworth maintained special day school for children aged 2-11 years.

We specialise in educating pupils with severe and profound learning disabilities. Many pupils have additional physical disabilities, communication difficulties and complex health needs.

We are extremely proud to have maintained our Outstanding Ofsted judgement in September 2016 having had 3 previous consecutive Outstanding judgements.

We ensure all pupils follow a curriculum that is highly personalised and differentiated to make learning fun, meaningful and engaging.

We aim for all of our children to leave Greenmead as confident, independent life-learners who are able to express themselves and their choices, are problem-solvers and who can contribute to the community in which they live and learn.

We work closely with colleagues in health and social care to provide integrated therapies throughout the school day and to support our work with families to ensure all children are able to reach their full potential in a safe and happy environment.

We hope that the information provided on our website is able to answer your questions about our school.

If you require any further information, would like a paper copy of any of the documents included in our website or would like to arrange a visit to our school, please contact us.
